Trainers will be available during the practice and show to not only help in the pen, but also to help during practice and flag work - please feel free to approach ANYONE. They are ALL willing to help, coach and encourage! This is what the TSCC is all about!
Your 2020 club membership must be paid and the form signed before you can show or practice because of insurance requirements. There is a link for the membership form on this website. What can you expect? Chris and Jess will offer you a great foundation in understanding the sport of cutting and start you off working your horse on the flag before progressing to work cattle.
No experience necessary and your horse is not required to be a trained cutting horse. This clinic is limited to 12 participants so register now to secure your spot! Stay tuned for additional info!
***NO PRACTICE!*** May 30th/31st Show @ the Kimpton Ranch, Toston
Start time is 10:00 a.m! Judge will be Wylie Gustafson. Brian can accommodate overnight stays with room to park your trailer (several hook ups available or run your generator) and panel pens or corrals for your horses at $10 per horse. Turn west off Hwy 12 at the Bunkhouse Bar onto Hwy 285 (the Radersburg Hwy). Go about 5 miles and turn left onto Hwy 437 (also paved). Go 2 miles and turn west onto Kimpton Lane. Concessions will be available!

June 26th (practice), 27th/28th (show) - DOOLING RANCH SHOW, BIG HOLE
Come enjoy some of the best scenery to be found in Montana, good cattle and cutting pen! Panel pens are $10 per night/ $45 per practice). Practice starts at about 4:00 p.m. on Friday June 26th. Judge to be determined. There's plenty of room to park a trailer or stay at the Jackson Hot Springs Lodge in Jackson. We don't know if we will have a catered dinner or a potluck again - so stay tuned!

The Turnoff to the ranch on Hwy 278 is called "Skinner Meadows" at Milemarker 42, just on the south side of Jackson. You can go through Wisdom and down or to Dillon and take the Jackson exit on the south side of Dillon on Interstate 15
Turn west at Skinner Meadows sign on Route 278. 6 miles to Ranch. Can hit Route 278 from Wisdom side or the Bannack-Jackson exit on the south side of Dillon

Cletus is an accomplished trainer, showman and clinician with Earnings of over 500K. He has won the NCHA NP Futurity barely out of his teens before becoming a professional trainer.
Son of Cletus Hulling SR, who holds the most AQHA Transfers to this day. Brother to Barbra Schulte, and Nikki Lyons (former wife of Tom Lyons). Clete grew up riding / training and selling horses from all walks of life. In 2019 he was Reserve World Champion in the Open Derby, World Champion in the Open Classic and Reserve World Champion in the Open Classic at the ACHA. Clete is on the Board of Directors for the ACHA. What sets Clete apart is that he is not only easy to talk to and has the patience to explain the why and the how, but despite his many accomplishments he has not forgotten the struggles of one starting out. He loves to teach people how to train their own horses instead of being co-dependent on a trainer for success.
September 11th (practice) & 12th (show) - Never Sweat Ranch, Hamilton
The Never Sweat Ranch is situated in one of the most picturesque areas of Montana - come enjoy a wonderful day of cutting on September 11th and 12th! Bring your generator if you are spending the night - pens and corals available for horses @ $10.-/night - Practice starts at 3:00 pm on Friday. The show starts at 10:00 am.
